Why are so many people so fond of using subterfuges and excuses in their lives instead of
facing responsibility and actually work to improve their situation?
One possible reason: People are taught that someone will save them, protect them, take care of them. Religions and Governments do this to insure people continue to do as they're told. The idea of a Saviour is embedded in the subconscious and anything outside of the prescribed box is seen as - wrong
