    Do you have chronic pain?

    Do you have chronic pain anywhere in your body? If so, what have you done about it and has it worked?

    I have fibromyalgia with widespread moderate pain and a hip that needs replacing (too scared to do that).  I haven't found anything that works. I won't take pain meds so I take ibuprofen a couple of time a day - morning and before bed.

    I know they say exercise helps but it hurts so much to walk across the room, I haven't been able to bring myself to do more.

    Yes. I have written a hub about it that pretty well sums it up. It is something God has given me to deal with but there are times my patience grows so thin

    I have chronic migraines.  So far the best help has been massage and supplements.  I think the other big thing that helps is reading and learning.  Being my own advocate has been so very important.

    yes, I get migraines a couple times a month and my back is really messed up.  Seems like something hurts every day.  For migraines, I take imitrex and lay in a quiet, dark room.  For my back it is heating pads, ice, laying down if it is really bad and I can't walk, using otc muscle rubs, aspirin, and anything else I can think of.
