   Tumeric, curcumin, the spice in curry, is a very effective anti inflammatory.
   Thyme, a common spice found in any grocery store is an expectorant, for congestion. May be added to warm water, and sipped to releive congestion.
   Sage, a common spice found in stuffing, has estogen properties. So is helpful with hot flashes, and as a sedative. May be added to warm water, and swished around in the mouth as for effective releif of mouth disorders.
   Mustard water has been used by many in the releif of muscle spasms, and cramps.
   Pickle juice, literary, has been used in the same way, Cayenne pepper, either internally, or applied topically relieves, muscle strain, and arthritis pain.

   Hops, found in beer, has for centuries been used as a sedative.
   Green tea helps to regulate insulin levels, and aides in weight loss. Also has anti infective properties, and boosts the immune system. Very effective for a cold, when honey is added.
   Honey as an anti infective. Has anti viral, and anti bacterial properties. May be applied directly to a skin infection, will kill staph, and strep topically, as well as internally. Very effective for a sore throat, and has healing properties. Very effective. Has to be 100% organic in order to work, read labels.
