Will you consider mastectomy, breast removal if you have risk of breast cancer?
It is tough for women.
No. I do not stop driving my car because there is a risk of having a bad accident every day. I do all I can to be safe, but I do not live in continual fear- that is not living.
Likewise, western medicine is really fear-based medicine in many respects. It does not teach people that cancer does not just appear overnight; it takes a long time for a body to manifest a serious cancer; but you better do something fast! if it has been found? Instead, one could look at emotional, environmental, spiritual, and nutritional factors that could have contributed to it and work to reverse it. It can be done because you have time to reverse it if the cancer is not advanced beyond a certain point.
If one is willing to get educated and allow oneself to have a paradigm shift regarding causes and cures of this condition (really, of any dis-ease), one may actually find more hope and a more lasting outcome because of dealing more with the root of the problem than with its symptoms.
That's what I would do; go outside of western medicine. What if I have a masectomy but the cancer just shows up on some other body part because I never addressed the cause? How many body parts am I willing to live without? None, if I can help it.
