Do you know anything about persons who are in love with water?

No, not for drinking but for swimming, relaxing, bathing etc.

I am in love with the ocean beach, water included. For me, it is a healthy natural place in which my whole being heals and sings.

All I know is that one of those persons is me.  My husband knows the standard answer to his question, "Should we take the freeway?", is always "Take the water."  (The Pacific Coast Highway).  I don't care how much longer it takes. I grew up on the lower east side of Milwaukee with Lake Michigan a few blocks away.  I notice that all of my closest friends who grew up there now live near the water.  One couple moved to Oregon, one couple to Green Bay, and we are living in Southern California.  For Mother's Day, ANY Holiday that I get to choose, I choose the water.  I ADORE it.  If the rest of the family wants to go hiking or to a movie or a museum, I'm disappointed. I notice since I'm near the Pacific, I love the harbors over the rocky coast.  Yesterday we had a drink at Dana Point and I could smell the ocean, saw Pelicans dive, watched the sailboats and paddle boarders, watched white herons and seagulls, all the time loving it and wanting to be IN it.  I am truly in love with the water and I understand your love completely.  (I do happen to have a birthday in Feb.  There CAN'T be anything connected with astrology though.  But....?)

Many people find water relaxing.  They find the sights and sounds of the ocean, the feel of the water, the ease of movement, and the smell of water help them to feel better about life.  When you swim, your body moves more easily.  This helps people who live with pain or disabilities to enjoy their time better.  There is something soothing about the sound of the waves as they rush to shore and the feel of the wind as it blows their hair and clothes.  Sometimes, this is because people have good memories associated with being around water.  Maybe their family went there when they were young and it brings back memories of simpler times.  For some people, it may be the way water seems slower.  We live in a very fast paced world and the slowness associated with being near water may be just what a person needs to relax.

Yes I think I consider myself one. I look forward to a relaxing bath at the end of a day and  feel rejuvenated. Our bodies are 2/3 water so I think its a natural tendency to feel the goodness of water around us and benefit from its buoyancy.
