Radishes protect you from cancer as they have a significant amount of glucosinolates, which protect cells from mutations. They are also high in fiber, which helps in avoiding colon cancer in particular, among other GI infections. They are also high in vitamin C (1 cup of radishes has 17.2mg, which is 19% and 23 % of the recommended daily intake for men and women respectively), which is good for metabolism.
