Would you take Steroids or other performance enhancing drugs?
Pro athletes that have been caught are ostracized for taking them. It's cheating plain & simple, but I do understand the argument. If you were a highly recruited athlete or a veteran professional athlete that started to lose your luster, would you take steroids to keep your dream alive?
No because I am a learn from the mistakes of others type of person. A friend of mine was taking "all natural" performance enhancers from GNC...and he went crazy. Lost his wife and daughter over it.
Absolutely not. Not only is it illegal. It causes many health problems. In the now and the future. You can ruin your life and your career. Nope not on that boat
No never. Those who do that try to enhance their own power with a strong drug and then what they do is not longer their own strength but some added strength from a drug that also might be harmful and kill the person taking it.
If I was a professional probably not. I have used steroids in the past with legal terms. I was prescribed injections of testosterone which is the male hormone produced by your body. Testosterone is considered the first basic cycle for someone that is looking to try steroids. As it is naturally occurring in the body, injecting preferred doses into your body from the outside will peak your testosterone giving you more energy and the ability to put on lean muscle mass fast. A lot of pros and people you hear about using steroids are on a grocery list of different kind of compounds that they would stack in a needle and shoot up DAILY. There is a lot of information on the internet regarding steroid use and how to go about doing it correctly and safely.
Pro Athletes that boost their testosterone with steroid injections are only boosting their testosterone. So in order for them to get caught they need to have a hormone panel done with blood work.. this is different then a drug test. When they get the results back from the hormone panel they are usually checking to see if the athletes hormone levels are way out of range indicating that they had used. However there are different esters of the steroid and they are able to get some that only last a day, so they have to inject daily but if they stop the next day their levels will be fine.

Do you care whether or not professional athletes take performance enhancing drugs?I don't. It's supposed to be a larger than life spectacle.

What's the problem here?We humans have about as much athletic ability as "cattle!"Instead of publicly embarrassing "users," why not do as they do in bodybuilding i.e. 2 classes of participants, 1 group "natural" and another, "users." Let the players...

In my opinion, Pete Rose is the greatest hitter to ever step on a baseball field and should be in the Hall of Fame. I'm sure there are players in the HOF that have also done some immoral things in their time. Isn't the HOF based on the players performance on the field? Should the steroid era...
