It might be considered a disability if it prevents you from functioning in a normal way or preventing you from accomplishing a task. But it's more of a disorder than a disability.
Technically no. It is not covered under FMLA at my state employment. If you are asking is it disabling, it sure can be. For the most part it actually can be a big help to you and others. When life goes on tilt it does too and tips the scale. These are the times my rituals and my checking and rechecking get in the way and consume too much of my time. Then it is back to the therapist.
