    No. Trust for me is like respect, it has to be (earned) overtime. However there are times where one might have to rely on a stranger or non medical professional in emergency instances.

    Well, I have trusted my life to many Doctors, to put me to sleep and wake me back up, to cut, change and fix things. So far so good. I always took God in there with me, though.

    No, not really!!! The only person you can trust with your life is yourself. I think its odd that people swear or want people to swear that they or the person at hand can be trusted with their lives. Your life is no one's responsibility except your own!!!!
    Technically you can say you trust doctors with your life, but I don't really believe that. You really trust doctors to help you get better, to make the pain to go away, to essentially fix you. You only temporarily hand over your life to another in hopes that they can improve your chances against your mortality.

    No I do not trust many; however, there are some whom have gained my trust over time and a very few I have trusted before I was able to discern their trustworthiness ( i. e. Brain surgeon, assorted other doctors, nurses and orderlies)...
