Stress is useless, but we all deal with it. What causes you stress and how do you deal with it?
Stress is caused by the production of anxiety within us because of some stimulus that we cannot immediately deal with. It is imperative that we modify ourselves in some way to "get rid of" the stress quickly since long-term stress affects us both mentally and physically. When we are subject to stress it can affect our pulse, blood pressure, body temperature etc.
I have simply learned to address my stress (quickly). In other words I do not let it eat away at me. I resolve the issue(s) immediately and avoid dubious procrastination from finding a solution. I also do not allow my amygdala to rule my mind. The amygdala attaches emotional significance to sensory input so it is indeed wise to think before one leaps. Do not respond quickly from your amygdala.
Externalize your stress in a good way and avoid externalizing by taking it out physically or emotionally on your close friends and family. I happen to play ice hockey and it has become a wonderful avenue to externalize my stress in. Keep in mind I am not violent, I play old timers hockey, there is no hitting or fighting permitted; yet the puck and stick are great instruments to externalize to...
i am stressful right now, my son swallowed a coin and doctor said wait and see. I can see white hair growing on my head and can't sleep well. It is stressful but life goes on
Research the history of coin swallowing and outcomes via Google. It should ease your stress...
"...and outcomes via Google...." Does this refer to a part of the anatomy? only kidding.....
