What Does a Dental Implant Entail?
I recently broke a root on my number two tooth and have to get it pulled. Is a dental implant a reasonable option?
Yes it is. Infact implant is the best option available today but with certain considerations like your age, the quality of your bone, your overall medical condition i.e. if you suffer from any medical ailments. For eg. in diabetics, uncontrolled blood sugar can lead to failure of implants. There are many other factors too that need to be evaluated. And if all the factors are favorable, implants , though a little expensive, are the treatment of choice.
