Do you have dental implants? Any advice?
I am curious to know more about implants from people who already have them or have had them for a number of years. Any problems? What type do you have? Anybody have the mini implants?
I have an implant that replaced a single molar. I've had no problems with it in the 5+ years I've had it. I really don't even notice it at all.
The original tooth cracked and couldn't be fixed. My choices were to have either a big gap in my teeth, a bridge, or an implant. The implant was the most expensive option, but it seemed like the most permanent and simple solution. I'd make the same choice again tomorrow if a similar situation came up.
Glad to hear it is working out for you. Thanks for the info. Did you have a specialist do it?
It was my regular dentist office, but they have a large team and do implants, bridges, dentures, and crowns in addition to typical things like cleanings and fillings. I can send you their name if you're in the North Shore region of Massachusetts.
I'm not planning on having implants right now and live in FL, but thanks for the offer.
