How much does stress, depression and other emotional states affect fitness training?
I used to exercise at fitness center under a fitness coach observation. But often I feel depressed due to work load. How much does that stress and depression affect my fitness training. Should I continue with the exercising or quit?
Continue! It's at the times you feel like moving the least, your body needs it the most. Exercise releases endorphins which are a natural remedy for stress and depression.
If you are exercising at the right time of day; you will sleep better and your brain/mind will function better in time. Also, exercise is a healthy way to vent frustration and release stress.
Anyone who is prone to anxiety and depression NEEDS regular exercise - daily. I know it is the only thing that truly helps me, in addition to a clean diet.
