Should we not drink coconut water because of its high level of potassium or drink small amounts?
Coconut water is supposed to be good for you, but it seems like some questions come up on medical websites. Bad experiences or good?
Hi, Audrey, my experience with coconut water is excellent. It's like anything else, we should always enjoy it in moderation. Living in Florida a great part of the year means we have to cope with becoming easily dehydrated. Plain coconut water from young green coconuts is a real thirst quencher and energizer. It contains easily digested sugars and electrolytes, so they are easily assimilated, putting minimal stress on the digestive system. I don't drink soda or sports drinks, so outside of a glass of almond milk or an occasional decaf iced coffee my only other vice would be fresh coconut water. Best to you. Bobby
