I have mild sleep apnea and am supposed to use my machine nightly. I have tried many different masks, but the less on my face, the better. I have the nasal pillows systems which only goes around my ears and to my nose. It works most of the time, but I have to be very tired to leave it on for some time. I usually take it off sometime during the night without knowing. Wish there was an easier way, but mine is the least cumbersome, so they tell me.
But I see a lot of patients using it everyday on my daily visits to intensive care units. They may be having problems like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, acute respiratory syndrome etc.
I feel really for them and always pray for their faster recovery
