What is the best way to bring up to family about things left after they are gone?
For instance, asking your dad for his guns, a special cake recipe, or even a one of his tools??.
It depends, of course, on attitudes and personalities, but it could be fine to say something like, "Hey Dad, if you don't have plans to designate that amazing hobby horse your family brought from the old country to anyone else in your will how about keeping me in mind for it?"
