    How do I strengthen my shoulders without doing pull ups?

    I am trying to find exercises I can do at home to build my deltoids. I do not have room or the strength to do pull ups at home. I want an exercise or two that will build my shoulders gradually to the point where I can do pull ups.

    Though I do not know of any exercises , there are plenty on line that physical therapist recommend as a Home Exercise Program for their patients.  You might want to try googling some.

    Pull ups are not a shoulder exercise, they work your lats and arms.

    You want to do shoulder exercises like shoulder presses, upright rows, lateral fly lifts I prefer dumbbells because each arm has to balance independently.. This causes the stabilizer muscles to strengthen and grow, producing a fuller look.

    Well pull ups is more of a back exercise, but if you want to strengthen your shoulders try doing shoulder press, dumbbell side raises, and lateral raises
