What will happen to people in chronic pain now that hysteria has created a so called opioid crises?
The news media, in an attempt to get ratings has created a so called opiod crises. 90% of pain killer overdoses are caused by a combination of other drugs. This usually involves oxycodone or tranquilizers. As a college student studying biopharmaceutical technology, I can write with certainty that hydrocodone is not strong enough to be classified as a schedule 2 drug. Congress has passed these laws simply to create the impression that they are taking action so they can seek re election. Rest assured they do not care about people that have to live in chronic pain on a daily bases.
