Health is wealth and many people take various measures to keep it fit. Some go to gym, some walk, some exercise rigourously, some are choosy and take only healthy and nutritive foods and things like that.

Still some of us are not able to keep our health in a good condition and time and again succumb to ailments.

What do yo think is health in our hands? Can we manage it as we want?

Tendency to acquire illnesses, in the medical sense, consists of 3 types of factors: host factors, environmental factors and genetic factors. Most of us can modify the environmental factors such as diet and alcohol consumption. But host factors such as autoimmunity and genetic factors can hardly be modified. So by trying to be healty, you can't avoid diseases altogether. But do it, because that at least can reduce the probability of getting a disease.

You better be your own world best doctor in this world. Because the medical systems is the leading cause of death in the world and they are making trillions.

It's not profitable for them if you are healthy.

You are quite right. As far as possible we have to keep our health in good shape with life style and natural measures. But, yes, there are times when we are attacked by external germs or microbes and then sometimes it is a compulsion to go to the modern medicines.

In such critical junctures, I think there is no other choice. For example in accident cases surgeries can only save a person.

The question that many of these treatment and things are beyond the affordability of common masses is a matter of worry.

I grow microgreens as my largest source of food and intica cannibis stains for my medicine, all in my home and balcony. Of course all things in moderation. You don't need to be wealthy to be healthy.

After age 50, the pharmaceutical want you hooked on their drugs for life. When the top ten ways to die are in the foods we eat and the exercise. Too bad the greedy synthetic took my natural built, self sustainable home away. We need something like these eco homes to at least to combat the total pollution that surrounds us.

Yes its always in our hand. Here I would like to share good options when it comes to pre and workout meals?

    1. If you are someone who doesn't like eating too much before the workout, then having just a cup of black coffee could do the job.
    2. If you are someone who prefers pick-me-up kind of carbs, adding a source of simple carbs immediately before could be great, eg - banana, apple, glucose and few other fruits like berries.
    3. If you have the time to cook, adding some slow digesting complex source of carbs like - oats, muesli, or bread 40-50 mins before could be a good choice.
