WHAT DIET SHOULD WE FOLLOW TO LIVE LONGER?

   As we approach old age, concerns about our health and longevity crop up. Why is this so?
   I guess that partly because -
   1. We have worked so hard to reach this age and partly because
   2. We have an affection for our grandchildren and like to watch them grow up. This is again due to our lack of attention given to our own children during their growing up days.
   Ever since the internet made its presence, we have been flooded with lots of information regarding everything we want to know.
   I am now aged 65. Three years back, I subscribed to Amazon Audible and have been hearing stories on various topics[ power of internet]. One of the stories was about the Japanese way of living longer-Ikigai.
   Going ahead, I came across articles by Dan Buettner on Blue Zones, encouraging me to do more research on aging.
   Almost all articles I came across suggested regular exercise and a well-balanced diet. Some people have suggested that you should eat until you know that you are 80% full. Others suggested having a purely vegetarian diet. Some say-have a vegan diet and some say have a Mediterranean diet.
   Now coming to my question-what diet should we follow to live longer? If anyone has any suggestions kindly share them in this forum.

      Mostly water enrich foods, since we are mostly made of water.
