has anyone used one of those iPhone apps for monitoring baby's heartbeat?
i heard you can hear the baby's heartbeat using only the iPhone mic and a headset. does it realy work?
I am not sure about these apps I in fact have never heard of them.. but there are special prenatal heart monitors you can buy on Ebay for about $50 the one I have is called the Sonoline B and it works at 14 weeks
I find it hard to believe that the mic on the iPhone is strong enough to pick up the baby's heartbeat. If anything, it might pick up the mother's heartbeat which can be mistaken for the baby's. I am very curious to see if it has actually worked for anyone...
Honestly, I haven't heard about iPhone app that allows parents to hear the baby's heartbeat. However, there are iPhone apps that allow parents to recognize the reasons of baby's cry. But I would like to say that it is better for parents not to trust these apps and get a consultation of a doctor.
