I cannot stay on my legs for too long before I feel pain, and I begin to limp. If I still continue standing ... the pain becomes so horrific that I have to fight back tears, and the urge to scream out from it. So, I no longer drive.
I get around affordably with Access-A-Ride -- Para-Transportation -- here in New York City.

You know one thing,mental strength is the biggest power to win in any battle or to achieve your goal defending all the hurdles.If you are too strong mentally to overcome your disabilities ,then trust me you are stronger that Cane.
Having an opened mind to new ideas is always a good start, if something doesn't work keep at it till you find what does.
