Soursop - A Cure For Cancer?

Updated on December 31, 2022

Presenting to you SOURSOP fruit also called Annona Muricata. It is originally from Mexico, Cuba and Central America but it can also be found in Sub-Sahara Africa and some part of Southeast Asia. Soursop belongs to the family as Pawpaw.

The tree produces green leaves and the main soursop fruit - a greenish large bean-shaped fruit with blunt thorny surface. It is best enjoyed only when ripe. Its ripeness is visible by the softness and tenderness when felt by the fingers. The inside of the soursop is milky and comes with small brown seeds. Soursop has a sweet flavor and is usually creamy when ripe.

Soursop tree has a normal growth of about 8meters in height. It is commonly called 'shawa sop' in southeast Nigeria and is remarkably known for its usefulness in the treatment of Heart disease, Diarrhea, High blood pressure, Hypertension and most recently CANCER.

According to the encyclopedia Britannica "Cancer also called Tumours or Neoplasms are abnormal growths of cells arising from malfunctions in the regulatory mechanism that oversee the cells' growth and development... when normally growing cells are transformed into undisciplined cancer cells, they invade and destroy nearby healthy tissues... tumours that grow and spread aggressively in this manner are designated malignant or cancerous"

Research on Soursop over the years have revealed the potency and effectiveness of the fruit, leaves, seeds and barks in curing or at least eliminating dramatically the cancerous cells found in the body.

Studies and research have proved the importance of Soursop. "Soursop is 10,000 times more effective at killing colon cancer cells than Chemotherapy" says a study conducted by the Catholic University of South Korea. Even though research on Soursop is ongoing, it is pertinent to acknowledge the potentials of this natural herb in the treatment of cancer.

However, research have indicated that the ethnolic properties contained in Soursop is effective against cancer cells. The Alkaloid elements called Coreximine and Reticuline are thought to slow the growth of cancer. More so, other properties found in Soursop have been found to be antiviral, anti-cancerous and anti-parasitic includes acetogenins, especially annonacin and quinolones.

Soursop have developed many names over the years. It has become familiar with many locals in Spain, Brazil and Ghana commonly known as guanábana, graviola and aluguntugui respectively.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

Consider the experiences of people who have used this form of treatment. Meet

Shirley who says

'This is very true! my husband has prostate cancer, he started using the soursop leaves as a tea every morning in one month his PSA total went from 5.94 to 3.59… The doctor wanted to know what was he using please people give it a try'

She is not the only one who have attested to the efficacy of Soursop in treating cancer.

Chikita added 'this is true coz my aunty have cancer and she took soursop leaves on boiled water everyday and everytime she drink and her cancer is lost and she went to doctor only first time she feel something on her body and after take water of soursop leaves and then doctor say bye..bye…cancer...'

Experiences and life story of people who have used Soursop fruit as treatment for cancer have been successful. However, it is important to note that proper usage and dosage as in the case of boiled leaves of Soursop should be properly considered. Soursop is a notorious cancer cell killer as have been confirmed by many people's experiences and my personal research.

CONCLUSION

Does this indicate that proper medical attention be neglected in the case of those suffering cancer? Should individuals administer treatment of cancer using Soursop without getting any professional help? Far from it, cancer sufferers must consult their health experts to get the best possible treatment. However, Soursop can serve as a supplement treatment under the guidance of a medical herbalist or medical expert. Administering self-treatment without proper guidance is not advisable.

Having come to the understanding of the efficacy of Soursop in the treatment of cancer at (a late hour) I am positive that Soursop fruit, seeds, barks and leaves are absolutely worth trying.
