Gift Ideas for all the Family

Have no time to go shopping, then take a look through this hub to get some inspiration.

With so many things to do it's always nice to be able to sit at the computer and find those ideal gifts for the family.

Hopefully this hub will give you some inspiration!

No hassle, just sit at your computer and click, gift Ideas for all the family sorted for you!

Year after year I set off to do my shopping in the high streets of Britain only to find that I come home empty handed with sore feet and exhausted as I haven't been able to get hold of the gifts I had so much wanted to get!

The traffic is horrendous all year and even before I hit the high streets I have to sit in traffic queues which brings my stress level to a higher level at an ever increasing rate and very quickly!

I have wrote this hub with suggestions for me and anyone else that suffers with the same dilemma that I have to go through year upon year looking for gifts for the family.

Well, not me this year. I am done with the hassle of getting to the shops and finding that what I want is not available.

Shopping can bring an awful lot of stress to all of us with emphasis being on spending as much money as you can and blowing your own personal budget for the economy!

Now my way of thinking is that you can buy present's for all the family and not blow the budget.

Take a look at the gift ideas that I have thought of for all the family and you will find that most of them won't break the bank!

Gifts for everyone in my hub!
Gifts for everyone in my hub!

If we were to look at the our families most of us have Mums and Dad's, Grandad's and Grandma's, Brothers and Sister's, Auntie's and Uncle's, Grandson's & Granddaughter's and then there are friends and pets to buy for, wow the list is enormous!

I thought it would be good to share with you my thoughts on what you could get without having to go shopping and wear yourselves out bumping into people trying to get the best deal.

Lets start with our Mum's and Dad's and what we could buy them for any occasion.

Now for those of us with a small budget you could go for the usual pair of socks or slippers or alternatively you could buy them something a little bit different such as a calligraphy set like the one in the picture, dad would not expect you to buy that sort of gift and it may inspire him to start to draw. Or on the other hand in this digital world that we live in you could buy him a digital camera, I have picked one that he would love, dad's are always keen to take photograph's of their loved ones!

Now for Mum, mum works so hard for us that even when you are limited to what you can spend it seems that our mum's are the one's we want to spoil more than the rest! You could go for the perfume, I have chosen Elle Yves Saint Laurent because I have personally tried it and love it.

The trouble with mum's (and I am one) is that they never want you to spend on them! All they want is for you to be happy.

Or you could go for a tablet for her to read those books that she so likes to read after she has prepared the evening meal on any given day, or, you could buy the book in traditional paperback the choice is yours! Now I have read Fifty Shades of Grey and I would suggest this one. Make sure that when you give Mum this present that she has finished her chores because once she starts reading it she won't be able to put it down!

Being a mum myself nothing gives me more pleasure than sitting down for a good read, I don't think you can go wrong with buying books.

Traditionally, I normally have a good read when I am on holiday as I am home from work and there is more time to indulge myself in this luxury, I hope someone buys me the tablet like the one in the picture.

And to help mum figure out how to use the tablet you could show her this video on your hub!

I always find buying difficult for brother's unless of course you want to buy them a jumper or socks etc.

I am going to buy a computer game or alternatively a fitness item for his birthday this year, I know that he will be happy with this as he is a fitness bod and he also likes computer games, there is a suggestion for you below.

Or alternatively for the Bro's in our lives we could plan an evening for a meal and a catch up, I don't know about you but our lives are so hectic with work and our own families that Birthday's seemto be the only time that we do get together these days!

For my sister I will buy her a birds of prey dvd set and I will also get her a hat and scarf set to keep her warm this Birthday! Although I am struggling with the color as there are some fantastic scarf sets around at the moment, I have chosen one for you just click on the link and your shopping is done!

Now when it comes to the man in your life if I was you I would go for something that can be of benefit to both him and you, such as a new laptop that you can both share! This intel dual looks perfect!

That said my hubby is a biker and I love to ride too, so, that said I think that I am going to be buying him something for the bike or maybe some biker gear. I know that he would like a new motorbike but he can't choose the one that he would like, so, that may have to come for his Birthday! Click on the link below for more inspirational ideas for gift's for the man biker.

This video may help with the setup on the day!

I think maybe another gift other than the laptop that we can share and biker gear that would be appropriate for the man in my life this year has to be a smartphone. Both of us have had our phones for donkey's years and it is time we both had new phones. I wonder if he will buy me one! This Alcatel looks splendid!

Now for the ladies. If my hubby were to read my hub I really would like a piece of jewellery this year, plus a smartphone and to be able to use the new laptop if that is what I decide to get him. However that said whatever he buys me is always a real pleasure to receive.

Now being a lady myself what I would suggest any men folk out there should buy there wives is.... and I think they will love it! A ring, this always goes down well with us lady folk and funnily enough it is the one gift that we rarely lose! My hubby tends to buy me earrings but I have to say I always tend to lose one of them, now a ring, that would be lovely! This one looks perfect!

or alternatively if you have been married for years how about a ring with a very large diamond in it! Now I am dreaming as my hubby has told me many times that he is going to be around for ever so no need for a diamond! (As the saying goes, Diamond's are forever!) I love this one!

For the daughter's in your life you could buy them if they are adults artificial nails or a hair extensions as these items seem to be all the rage at the moment! My daughter is getting a new kettle this year as she may put it on when we visit, the hint will be subtle but hopefully in my favor as she always forgets to put the darn thing on! Just click on the products, hey presto, daughter's birthday pressies done!

And for the Son's, you can't go wrong with a computer game or after shave although that said my son is very particular about his aftershave, clothes and anything personal, he has told me time and time again not to buy anything personal so I am going to get him a computer game to play safe and this Call of Duty should do the trick.

This Call Duty Black Ops is a must for all gamers

And for the grandchildren it has to be a push bike, well, it has to be a push bike but that said I must admit it won't end there. I tend to go a little over the top with my grandchildren. It starts with one gift and ends up with at least ten or more! This push bike displayed would be ideal for both girls and boys on their birthday's!

Or, another suggestion could be and as I said earlier the list is endless, my grandson visited the weekend and gave me a few suggestion for him and for my granddaughter....

and for the granddaughter!

I think we are doing extremely well so far!

Well, I think we are getting there! Aunties and Uncles to go!

Now these present's only need to be a gift to let them know how much you care and love them for their birthday's! I normally buy a tin of biscuits or if I see particular smellie's they like then their the lucky ones, although they are happy if it is just a tin of biscuits. Some ideas are below for you!

Same again the uncles usually get biscuits too! A shared present for all the family on any occasion I call it, but sometimes I have been know to splash out on smellie's for them too! Mmm Calvin Klein lovely!

We must remember the pets! They have birthday's too! she loves her birthday not only for the treats she has brought for her but also for playing with the boxes that her presents came in after they have been unwrapped and discarded!

Every occasion sown up!I hope that some of the ideas that I have listed here help you with your gift shopping, no need for the hustle and bustle of the high street.

Now this was a doddle wasn't it! Just one more thing for me to say is CHEERS!

I hope your feet are not sore and that your shopping has been done with no stress attached!

Cheers! | Source
