Cancun Holiday Review

1.       The beaches of Cancun, Mexico

Fancy a juicy cocktail while enjoying a beautiful beach view from a homey cabana?

Cancun, Mexico is one of the popular travel destinations in Central America. Tourists from this continent and from other parts of the world flock to Cancun's beaches every year because this exotic destination is a prime spot for frolicking in the sand. For this reason, you may find most of Cancun's narrow sand strips filled with beach goers all year round. Swimming, diving, surfing and cabana hopping are some of the things people love to do in Cancun. If you do not mind the large crowds, and some of the people there smoke too, then you should be comfortable with Cancun’s relaxed and bohemian partying atmosphere.

Most of the hotels in Cancun are not too bad either. If your booking agent is good enough, you might get a room with a beach and cabana access for free. Some hotels have bars and pools you can use if the beaches are too crowded or you want to chill a little bit more. Most of them have American-style amenities such as malls and bars, so you may find these familiar.

Sightseeing and Adventure

If you want to experience a different side of Mexico, you can visit historical sites like the nearby Mayan ruins or its much better-preserved counterparts in Teotihuacán, Palenque, and ChichenItza. However, they are further away; so it may do you good to ask your travel agent if these trips are included in the itinerary when you book your vacation

A must do excursion for visitors to Cancun is the Hummer Jungle Tours , described as more than just a tour but an all inclusive adventure!

Here you can drive a 4x4 Hummer on the beach and dirt roads with no limits of where you want to go.you are the driver and in control.Drive through the swamps, jungle and deserted beaches, where you can drive right on the sand, and this is the only way you will see some of these sights. Accompanied by excellent tour guides this is regarded as one of the best excursions available in Cancun.

Cancun Highlights

Whether you are a first time or experienced snorkeler, snorkeling or even diving off Cancun is highly recommended. The variety of fish and coral you might expect to see in your very own aquarium back home, are all  within touching distance, and the vivid colours of the marine life have be seen to be believed even for just a novice snorkeler.

Playa del Carmen,Quinta Avenida (5th Avenue)  is a great place to shop in Cancun. There are also luxury malls offering fine luxury products  as well as handicrafts, and souvenirs at reasonable prices. Market 28 (Mercado 28)  is a huge place filled with traditional , souvenirs,  local goods and much more. Most people from Cancun go here to buy their daily groceries, and articles. This is a very typical Mexican market.Hammocks are a great souvenir to buy here.

For the most part, Mexicans are friendly and gracious, sometimes they may stick too close and infringe your personal space, but they are not rude, that’s just their culture. For personal safety, always stick with a travel companion or your tourist guide especially if you are brave enough to join the partying crowds filled with tipsy partygoers. Maintain a communications link with your attaché or the police to report any suspicious strangers or activities. Stay clear of these nuances and you should be in for an enjoyable Cancun vacation. Enjoy your party trip to the south amigo.
