More Quick and Cheap Homemade Halloween Costumes For Kids
After spending all your hard earned cash on school supplies and new shoes, the last thing you need stretching your budget is Halloween costumes! Quick and cheap Halloween costumes are best, and if your kids are old enough, they can do it themselves. It's not difficult to come up with really cute and clever costumes with junk you've got around the house. You can even hit the garage sales and pick up full costumes or random items to embellish what you've already got! Here are some ideas for quick and cheap homemade Halloween costumes.
Skeleton
You can use a black track suit or pajamas, or just a black turtle neck and pants. Use chalk and white fabric paint to create the bones.
Mummy
This is not only super cheap and easy, but the kids will LOVE it! Just set them loose with some toilet tissue and let them wrap away. This one would be great for the whole family because it takes very little money, no planning, and getting into costume is so silly it will really get you into the mood!
Tic Tac Toe Board
Wearing any dark or bright colored sweats and a shirt, create a tic-tac-toe board from bandage tape or duct tape. Then use the same tape or a contrasting color to make the X's and O's
