Mother's Day is right around the corner, and if you are anything like me, you've gone into panic mood over finding the right gift. My mother does not live close to me, so whatever I send her needs to be mailed. Let's face it, due to poor planning, I don't have the time to create the most personalized gift basket. I suspect if you are reading this, you are also in a semi-desperate situation. My solution to our problem - gift baskets from Amazon!
Amazon has a wide assortment of gift baskets that are perfect for Mother's Day. Many are priced under $20 which is great. This means you can even spend a little extra on flowers or sending a movie she might like. It also helps relieve some stress if you have the basket shipped directly to her. Who has time for the post office? If you are going to visit your mother, you can mail the basket to her, yet take her a nice cake or balloons for Mother's Day. The possibilities are unlimited. Don't forget, you will need to take your mother's health into consideration when choosing a gift basket with food. This is also the case if you are shopping for a grandmother. Some people simply can't eat chocolate or anything with sugar in it anymore. Also, if you are shopping for someone that is watching her cholesterol or her weight, perhaps a fruit basket is the best way to go.

Sometimes your mom just wants to be pampered. Perhaps you can't afford to send her to a spa for the weekend or maybe she just doesn't have the ability to go to the spa at all. In this case, you can give her a nice gift basket with spa items. You can get a nice set with lotion, shower gel or soap, and perhaps a candle on the side. If your mother just needs to relax more, this could be a really nice gift idea for her.
