Is your childs birthday after Easter? Still have some eggs why not host a Birthday Easter Egg Hunt.

Let get Springy Artsy and Crafty-Supply the kids with paper crayons markers gluesticks

construction paper and some googly eyes. Let them create their Favorite Part of Spring.

Birthday Decorations and Food Ideas are very easy to conjure up just think spring

and there is endless possibilities. Below you will find some Decorations and Food recipes for your spring adventure

Table cover, Nice Bright Shade for spring My fav for spring party either yellow with flower stickers and green cups and napkins or a red table cover with stickers and green cups and plates/of course you can incorporate your own colors too or you could also go with the store bought spring theme.

Centerpiece: Flower Centerpiece pick Bright shades that are fresh and full of spring.Set in the center of table or you could go for a Ladybug or butterfly stuffed animal or other spring related toys

Balloons outside tie bright spring-colors/related balloons to chairs/tables want someshaped balloons to match your theme think Sun,Butterfly,Ladybug.

I would only use the crepe paper bordering tables- trying to hang it from trees would just be to difficult.lol I would recommend using a contrasting color like purple with earlier color suggestions.

Snack Ideas that are easy to make:

Ants on a Log with celery, raisins and peanut butter-cut celery in half spread butter add raisins- done

Get some fresh veggies carrots broccoli and such and dip

Fruit bowl or platter

Some sandwhiches cut into the shapes of flowers ladybugs butterflies ext.

How about a Cracker/cheese tray arranged like a flower simple just put all the cheese in a circle in the middle and build your petals with crackers and pepperoni

make a nest..From craft store material and buy some chocolate eggs -Label-Bird eggs

Serve Lemonade. and other refreshments that are colored like SPRING

Optional Party favors to go with their take home plant or if you would rather do just one.

Springtime Birthday Party Favors

Are you having just a few children to need party favors for- this idea is good for small kid count buy some plastic watering cans for kids at dollar store/walmart fill with treats or a small toy

if you are having more kids than you might want to buy bubbles or playdough for them to take home you could tie on a tag that says thank you for coming to "Josie's Party" .

I have written of this earlier in activities about little flower pots as an activity for the kids they could plant them there and would double as a take home party favor.

Everyone knows that the Birthday Cake is the Highlight of the Party, So include this great cake in Your Spring-Time Party

What You will Need

  • 2 1/2 to 3 cups white icing
  • 1 baked 13- by 9-inch cake
  • 4 baked cupcakes
  • 5 baked mini cupcakes
  • 1/4 cup green icing
  • Green gel icing (optional)
  • Candy for decorations, such as spearmint leaves, colored sugar, colored nonpareils, LifeSavers Gummies, sour rings, jujubes, M&M's Minis, and Jujyfruits

How to Create:
  1. First, frost the 13- by 9-inch cake with the white icing. (Tester's Tip: To avoid dark crumbs in the light-colored icing, we used a white cake and cupcakes.) Arrange the cupcakes and mini cupcakes (you can cut them in half horizontally for thinner flowers if you wish) on top of the cake, wherever you'd like a flower. Cover them with the white icing as well, including the sides.

  2. Using a pastry bag (or a plastic bag with one small corner cut off), pipe a green icing stem for each flower. If you'd like, you can also add green gel icing grass. Place spearmint leaves along the icing stems, then decorate the cupcakes with colored sugar and candies to create a garden of colorful blooms. You can also pipe on dollops of icing, as we did with some of our flowers.
