Hi I'm Toya Welcome to my HubPages. I hope you enjoy them. I work online blogging, writing HubPages and selling things on and offline.

What you'll find!

In this Hub you'll find some ideas for quick and easy decorating for Christmas.

These homemade decorations can be made on a budget or with expensive materials of your choice. They can be made easily or if you know how to make your own decorations then you may want to make more elaborate ones with some more expensive materials.

Here's a quick checklist to see what you'll need:

Glue

Tape

Colored and metallic card

Scissors

Blu Tack

Thin cork for placemats

Printed fabric in Christmas designs and/or colors

Tinsel

Christmas wrapping paper

Christmas sequins or sticky bits like stars and hearts

Glitter

Paint

The Top Ten List

Tinsel and Bottle Candle Holders

Homemade Snowflakes

Table Decorations

Christmas Tableware Decorations

Christmas Theme Collages For Kids

Christmas Snow Globes For Kids

Homemade Tree Decorations

Paper Chains

Christmas Window Decorations

Hanging Decorations

Ribbon and Bows

Tinsel Bottle Candle Holders

Tinsel Candle Holders are very easy to make. You can use milk, jam, wine or beer bottles or any kind of bottles you want.

All you have to do is stick glue around the bottle and stick the tinsel on while you are wrapping it around the bottle.

To finish you can add a bow at the top and use a colored candle to put in your holder.

Gold, silver and red tinsel candle holders make great mantelpiece and table decorations and look really good as well.

Kids Christmas Collages

Here's an easy guide on how to make your own Christmas collage with your kids at home, at an arts and crafts event or at school.

If you do a Google search for free printable and/or downloadable Christmas Coloring Pages you will see hundreds and hundreds of results coming up. They show the most popular Christmas websites and coloring pages and are free to print or download.

Download your kids favorite ones.

For this Christmas craft you'll need:

Scissors

Glue

Colored card

Christmas wrapping paper

Other decorative collage pieces; for example, sequins, and some Christmas stickers

Glitter powder

First get your kids to cut out lots of small shapes and pieces out of your card and paper.

Then you can start gluing onto your picture. Either glue the whole picture and then just stick the pieces on as you want or glue each separate piece of paper or card.

You can also add colorful sequin or shiny shapes and also your glitter to the picture.

Let it dry and stick onto a piece of red or gold metallic card.

And that's it, a great Christmas Collage!

Your Table Decorations

Watch the following video for some great ideas for your Christmas Dinner Table.

You can add a centerpiece with flowers and candles

And you can also make your own glass decorations and napkin holders.

Making your table look nice makes Christmas and showing off your matching place mats and napkin holders really adds to the effect.

You can sew together patchwork place mats or if you aren't good with sewing you could try to use cork boards cut into place mat and glass mat sizes, plus 3 for the center of the table. There has to be one large one in the middle and two smaller ones on either side. The place mats will be large enough to fit a large dinner main course plate on them and the glass place mats have to be the size of a wine and/or tumbler glass size.

You can cover your cork with either fabric covers or Christmas plastic or laminated covers stuck on top. Use some waterproof glue so that the covers don't come off when you wash them!

A "quick and easy" method is to play a cozy fireplace-video on your TV. It feels just right at Christmas and its quickly made and for free.

I love all the videos from this playlist https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZOBKaPzhUE&in...
