Tinsel Candle Holders are very easy to make. You can use milk, jam, wine or beer bottles or any kind of bottles you want.
All you have to do is stick glue around the bottle and stick the tinsel on while you are wrapping it around the bottle.
To finish you can add a bow at the top and use a colored candle to put in your holder.
Gold, silver and red tinsel candle holders make great mantelpiece and table decorations and look really good as well.

Scissors
Glue
Colored card
Christmas wrapping paper
Other decorative collage pieces; for example, sequins, and some Christmas stickers
Glitter powder
First get your kids to cut out lots of small shapes and pieces out of your card and paper.
Then you can start gluing onto your picture. Either glue the whole picture and then just stick the pieces on as you want or glue each separate piece of paper or card.
You can also add colorful sequin or shiny shapes and also your glitter to the picture.
Let it dry and stick onto a piece of red or gold metallic card.

Your Table Decorations
Watch the following video for some great ideas for your Christmas Dinner Table.
You can add a centerpiece with flowers and candles
And you can also make your own glass decorations and napkin holders.
Making your table look nice makes Christmas and showing off your matching place mats and napkin holders really adds to the effect.
You can sew together patchwork place mats or if you aren't good with sewing you could try to use cork boards cut into place mat and glass mat sizes, plus 3 for the center of the table. There has to be one large one in the middle and two smaller ones on either side. The place mats will be large enough to fit a large dinner main course plate on them and the glass place mats have to be the size of a wine and/or tumbler glass size.
You can cover your cork with either fabric covers or Christmas plastic or laminated covers stuck on top. Use some waterproof glue so that the covers don't come off when you wash them!
