3 year olds have lots of character! They already walk and talk (in a way that everyone understands them) and are really fun to be with. They become a bit more picky and don't get excited about pretty much everything you give them so picking the right gift can be a bit harder. Toys are generally the best pick and you can choose one that will also help in the kids development.

Three year olds and older kids (boys and girls alike) really enjoy pretend play! And what better way to play than to dress up?

You can get all kinds of dress up trunks, from the all time favourite Disney's princesses to magical creatures such as fairies and you can rest assured girls will like them all (the more of them the better).

If you are skilled at sewing you can even make new dresses yourself! Nothing beats unique gifts (although I do know Barbie and Disney Princesses are loved a lot more).

I think the best way here is to get one basic dress up trunk (Disney!) and add your homemade pieces and accessories.

Dolls

Toys are always a welcomed gift and in most cases do not cost that much. I think dolls are always a safe pick, we (women) all had our own doll and I am sure most of you even remember it. Do you remember what the doll's name was? Your girls will too.

These have become quite popular lately and it's no wonder - they are soft, they are cuddly and they light up the the ceiling helping the kid to fall asleep easily.

Pretend Play Toys

At 3 and up the girls are ready to be introduced to some board games which will help make their minds sharper while they will be having fun.

You can also give them puzzles (foam ones with large pieces) as they to make a great brain exercise.

Play kitchens are a bit more expensive but they will last for years and girls will love them for years. You can get the neutral ones in all colors of the world but you could also get kitchen with a theme of her favourite character (all major animated characters already come with a playset of their own).

There are many doll houses that are appropriate for a three year old and they will fall in love with it.
