When do you take your Christmas decorations down? Some people take theirs down the day after Christmas, while some wait till New Year's Day. We have always taken ours down New Year's Day. This year my husband and I decided to take our Christmas decorations down today on New Year's Eve.
New Year's Day, or as shortly thereafter as weather will permit for outdoor decorations. Indoor comes down on that day.
Hi Lisa, we haven't taken ours down yet, but we are all pretty busy here! Ideally, we take them down around the time you mention, but this year it will be a little later. We did get a later start as well though this year. So its nice to have them a bit longer, as they are simple yet nice to see the pretty lights on the tree in winter time. Happy new Year!
We usually take ours down on the first weekend after the New Year (which would mean tomorrow and Sunday), but since we have plans for this weekend we've already booked next Saturday for "the come-down day."
