What can I buy my Dad for his 70th? Something special and personal but only have up to £50
He doesn't really need anything so I want like maybe some kind of personal gift that he can keep or maybe a gift experience.
My dad turned 70 last year, and said he didn't "need" anything. I found an old slide that was his favorite picture of myself and my sister from when we were little girls, and took it to a photo lab. I had the slide scanned and then made into a proper archival print photo, and framed it up for him.
It was a hit with the entire family, and Dad keeps it on his desk in his study.
Wonderful gift, relache. Another great gift idea might be to get a watch or pen set, then engrave a personal message to him on it. It's the message that will end up being the gift.
A framed photo of you and your dad when you were a little girl might be perfect. I also like relache's idea about you and any siblings. Photos are always wonderful things to receive and give!
