In light of Dr. Martin Luther King day the topic of debate is: How do you think Mr. King would...
feel or what would he say about black society today?
It is my position that he would be so very proud that this country elected a black president, that feeling of hope and achievement would overwhelm him.
On the other hand I think he would be shocked by all the crime and violence taking place.
I also believe that he would be ashamed of the "no squealing" policy that has developed in black communities causing countless crimes to go unsolved.
"We will have to repent in this generation not merely for the vitriolic words and actions of the bad people, but for the appalling silence of the good people." Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
I think he would tell the black community to come together, get more education, stop killing eachother, and help this country rise up as a unified nation.
" Intelligence plus character-that is the goal of true education." Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
