Celebration involves cooking, some traditions, - gift giving - money is also involved plus time constraints.
Happy Holidays to you and your family!
my mom just emailed me and my brothers, telling us she couldn't afford Christmas this year, so we were to count her out. I thought the holidays were about traditions and family spending time with each other, not about gifts. Money is a big constraint. so frustrating.
I think we put a great deal of stress on ourselves. We try to live up to the expectations of others and feel that we are going to let them down. We get frustrated with the shopping, decorating, visiting, etc. It seems like by the time you get ready for the holidays, they are over and you have not had any time to enjoy them!
