Thanksgiving is a day to thank The Lord for all that He has done for this country and for us as individuals. From the time He brought the Pilgrims here to this period of time. He has guarded and protected our country through wars ,natural disasters and all things that the enemy has done to try to destroy us .All of the times He has been with us but now we as a country are turning our back on His People Thanksgiving means to me that we should all return to God and repent for all of the evilness that we have allowed to come into this land and to thank Him for all of His Goodness and Mercy. Pray for America!
Over the years, not the same as Christmas. I have a small family, just the three of us. Cooking twice a year got old so we would go out to a nice hotel buffet on Thanksgiving. Child now grown so it's us and neighbors. Thanksgiving was always just a pre-Christmas celebration. Why two big holidays were put together, I haven't a clue.
