What do you feel is the romance about a vampire?
I am writing a Halloween poem so I thought I would ask a good question. Why are they erotic to people?
I think its mainly because of how the tv programs portray them. Back in the old days of black and white film they seemed to be more frightening because they were not made out to be attractive, but these days with Vampire Diaries and others the Vamps seem to always be good looking guys that are good underneath. I think thats why they are so attractive, along with their superhuman strength it makes the guys seem more protective, and therefore attractive.
I actually developed my passion for them in black and white... that is when, to me, they appeared more erotic (not necessarily sexy but erotic)... I think that is where a great deal of those that have written on vampires started...what do you think?
They know pain, they are old and wise (usually) because they live forever, chances are they won't die so they will always be there. They have beauty, grace, money, style, and power. What is there not to die for? Their sensual walk, the quick way they move, how they are dangerous for their own protection, and especially how they protect what is theirs.
My answer is based off of books, not movies.

Do you feel insecure when your partner innocently looks at an attractive lady or guy?Anyone attractive is bound to attract attention. It’s natural to look for a few seconds and look away.
