If you get pumpkins for Halloween, do you buy them at a store or go to a pumpkin patch?
And do you carve them?
I've always bought mine from a store mainly because it has never occurred to me to do otherwise. I think I might do that this year, hunt myself a pumpkin from a pumpkin patch!
Some of my best Halloween memories are of going to the pumpkin patch. It was so much more than picking a pumpkin! Hayrides and animals and a playground, plus they had these rope swings that we just loved.
Sometimes we carve them, but often end up forgetting until it's too late. We never forget to make pumpkin seeds though!

There were many very small pumpkins at the market today and they were asking $5.00 for them. It seems to me most years, we get the larger ones for around that price. We usually do half a dozen or so of the larger ones and then roast the seeds etc. I will probably be doing less this...

Would you rather make your own Halloween costume or buy one online or store?Personally I'd rather make my own. It's more fun, often economical and no one else is going to have the exact look.

When do you buy presents?Do you generally buy gifts way in advance of the giving occasion, within a few days before it, or (oops) afterward?

Do you think that charity means government mandated redistribution of wealth at gun point? Or is charity a willful act of kindness?http://www.mrconservative.com/2012/02/1 … -to-obama/
