Christmas seems to be rather chill experience throughout the world. Is there any region where Christmas is not chill?

Sure, in the southern hemisphere Christmas is during the early Summer. In Australia, you'll find Santa relaxing on a beach.

Yes, here in Australia we are basking in the heat.   I'm originally from the Northern hemisphere and used to a cold Christmas, which I prefer.  I can't complain though as it's a pretty relaxed affair.

Mid-December is the start of our "summer" here on the Pacific side of Costa Rica. We get very little rain, the temps go up a bit, and there's lots of sun until about May next year. We also have lots of Poinsettia blooming now!

You are walking about weather?  I grew up in Southern California on the west coast and Christmas was not cold, no snow, or rain.  Cooler temperatures, maybe 60 to 65 degrees but warm enough to be out and around on a new Christmas bike!
