For me, every Easter is memorable because of the meaning. Good Friday represents the day that Jesus died for our sins. Easter Sunday represents the resurrection when he arose from the dead. No death could not defeat him.
Several stand out, but Easter of 2009 is probably the most memorable. We skipped the family dinner to meet a toddler we were hoping to adopt. He was adorable and the time with him and his birth mother was precious. We were not the family chosen for him, but the experience with his birth mother inadvertently led us to the four little ones that we did end up adopting.
The first year my kids were old enough to do an Easter hunt. Loved every minute of it.
the one where I repented and asked God to forgive me for mixing the profane with the holy by celebrating the christianized worship of the sun god ra.
