What is the best candy to hang on a Christmas Tree?
Newer lights don't get nearly as hot, but is there a specific candy that stays fresh longer while on the tree for a month?
Traditionally, people hang candy canes because they have a hooked top and are wrapped. I would recommend hanging candy that is securely wrapped to prevent unwanted pests from climbing all over your tree.
I think candy canes were made for hanging on the tree. However, I read a hub this morning (The Best Edible Christmas Snowflake Ornament) about homemade edible ornaments made from frosting and they looked really pretty. Also, you can make sturdy gingerbread cookies with holes in them for hanging and they look nice, too.
