What is your favourite Christmas carol?
It is that time of year again, and everywhere I go I hear Christmas tunes and carols. I used to love singing them as a child, but rarely do now. My favourites were Good King Wenceslas and In the Bleak Midwinter. Do you have a favourite?
I have so many I really love so much it's hard to choose. I've been hearing one of them quite a bit on the radio over the past few days, so I'll list that one. I'm not sure of the title, but it's the one where Bing Crosby and David Bowie start off with "The Liitle Drummer Boy" and then David Bowie switches to singing about praying for peace.
"Mary, Did You Know" is awfully pretty." Here is a link, if you wish to listen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejzynSKdNDs
It is a song to Mary, about her child, Jesus, and what he would come to do.
Like many others, I'm sure, it would be easier to say which I like least. However, at the moment I am enjoying Jessie Norman's "This Christmastide" very much:
I love "What Child is This" and "Carol of the Bells." I've been finding myself singing carols and tunes as I go about my day but I always misplace my Christmas CDs and end up buying new ones!

I just got through watching "The Man Who Came to Dinner"; and, I realized it was one of those movies that I have to see around Christmas.
