What is the worst, or tackiest, Christmas givt you've ever gotten?

    What is the worst, or tackiest, Christmas givt you've ever gotten?

    In my case, it wasn't so much the gift, but the "thought" behind it.  I briefly dated a guy who had major issues.  He gave me a used Macintosh; it was so old, the hard drive had to be added on.  He even told me he'd paid $5 for it.  Then he said he wanted to break up with me - real nice, on Christmas Day!
    So I didn't sit with him next time we were in church.  He came to my place the following monday, demanding his gift back!  I got a good laugh with that one!
    So, what are your stories?

    I guess how bad a gift is depends how it is perceived in the eyes of the receiver. I think some people who give these gifts see the potential in a particular gift, but fail to recognize how the receiver might feel about it.

    One Christmas, my ex-husband, who was always telling me that at 120-lbs I was fat, gave me an ab-roller for Christmas so I could "get rid of those rolls" in my stomach (granted, I had just had a baby a year prior). Come to think of it, he was always complaining he didn't like my natural strawberry blonde hair, so a box of hair color was also received that same Christmas from him in a redder color.

    To me, they were hurtful gifts because he wanted me to change for him. He, I guess, thought I'd see it differently.
