For Saint Pattricks Day I mainly go around pinching people not wearing green.
Consideration of the truth of this dear man's life is the order of the day for me because his story is so inspiring. I actually wrote a hub about celebrating his life, but rules say I can't link it here.
We don't celebrate because we are only pseudo-Irish (Scots-Irish). I do wear green to work so I can avoid the comments, though. I think everyone gets into the act at work because my African-American friend was wearing green this morning, but of course, she may be part Irish. i've talked to several who are.
I wear green and have boiled ham and potatoes for dinner. As a child, my mother always went above and beyond to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. She dyed the toilet water green and we made a leprechaun trap, which she always set off and placed candy inside.
It is not observed here,so we baked some green cookies and had for green tea
