Do you purchase and set off your own fireworks to celebrate Independence Day?
No, I don't. I guess I'm afraid I'll lose control over them and burn down someones house or hurt someone. I do love to watch them though..
here is our country, we purchase fireworks in black market for a cheap price and let them off in rural areas
Here in California that simply can't be done. Only 'Safe & Sane' fireworks can be purchased. Cali basically has three categories.
Safe & Sane Fireworks
Explosives for Display
Those are all defined having regulations and there are laws regarding them too. If for instance a Cali person buys fireworks or explosives in Nevada and attempts to cross the state line then at least two laws are broken - Federal and California State, regarding transporting fireworks across state line. BTW four states completely ban fireworks all together. Otherwise it is individual state laws and county regulations pretty much.
Yes I do. It's a big tradition in my family. I used to buy my own or pool my money with other family members. It's a little different now because my new husband has a fireworks stand every year in Washington State. He puts on a show for the whole block after he closes on the 4th.
