Classic Rock is still the most popular music genre of all. I cherish my classic rock and frequently listen to Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Yes, Genesis, Rush to name a few. In fact I was holding tickets to see Led Zeppelin at Solders Field in Chicago in 1980 when Zeppelin Drummer Jon Bonham passed away and of course the concert was cancelled and the group disbanded.

I have seen Pink Floyd in concert as well as The Rolling Stones, The Who, Rush, Zappa, Yes, Styx, Foghat, Foreigner... Let's just say I have a really nice ticket stub collection!

There have been a few releases by classic rock artists recently including albums from Boston, Rush and more.

So you have a country music fan on your gift shopping list? That's OK, everyone’s got that someone on their holiday list who is hard to buy for. Country music will always have a special place in my heart. It takes me back to when I was growing up as a child, that's all my dad listened to in the car and in the garage. I remember it like it was yesterday all the special times with friends and family.

If the person your shopping for prefers old school country music, you can gift by Johnny Cash, George Jones, Waylon, Tanya or Alabama which are favorites of fans of the older style country music. If they are modern country music fans, Find Blake Shelton, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Taylor Swift and other good country music performers.

Of course each country music lover is unique, so you have to figure out which type of country music they prefer. Maybe they're older and really like the old school country music or are they younger and like to rock out to some of the hot new country artists that are pushing the country genre boundaries? Do they sport the country look in their attire? All of these things are great hints as to what they might like. Got an aspiring country musician on the shopping list? Well get him or her a guitar you never know when they'll win The Voice!

Today's jamband scene is alive and kickin' thanks to bands like Phish, Furthur, String Cheese Incident and Widespread Panic carrying the torch after The Grateful Dead ended with Jerry Garcia's passing way back in 1995.

The top gifts for today's jam band hippies are souvenirs from the Shakedown Street lot scene. The hottest items on the lot are hat pins, t-shirts, posters and other memorabilia.

You can't simply have your favorite music jammin' out loud everywhere you go, so everyone can enjoy it, but with the help of a nice pair of music headphones music lovers can listen to tunes practically everywhere they go.

Back in the day they were huge, and they didn't cancel out the noise around you like the headphones do nowadays. Plus many of today's headphones even feature a built in microphone so you

can talk on the phone. Headphones and headsets are some of the most popular music accessories.

Jamacian reggae music stretches back to the 1960's. I simply love reggae music and the reggae vibe too. Bob Marley was a genius and his music and the message is timeless and packed with wisdom.

Reggae music since its inception has been the voice, that speaks for the ones all over the world who have no voice. Reggae has had an eternal affect on the world. It is a casual music genre that can be soul stirring for many music enthusiasts.

If you know somebody having trouble getting into the holiday spirit this year nothing can charge them up with Christmas cheer more than listening to Christmas music. Christmas Music is some of the most beloved music of all, I've always been a huge fan of Christmas music. Nothing is better during the holidays than to listen to some good Christmas Music. It is nice to feel the spirit of Christmas.

For those struggling to find a good gift, Christmas music can be a great answer. Below, I have put together my Top 10 Christmas Music list. During the

Christmas Season, music is a key ingredient to creating holiday magic...

Christmas & Holiday Music

I've been a fan of rap or hip hop music since the early 1990's when I bought my first Nemesis CD "Munchies for Your Bass". The rise of the hip hop culture since then has had a huge impact in the USA and recent growth of hip hop music has spread like crazy around the globe.

The lights are flashing, beats are thumping and the audience is bouncing to the sound. If you have a raver BASS freak on your gift shopping list your in luck. We have some cool gifts.

This summer Me and a friend went to Electric Forest Music Festival and there was a lot of great electronic bass music. A several acts stood out from the pack for me. I really liked Skrillex, Krewella, Benny Benassi, Passion Pit, Empire of the Sun and Lynx.

Put on Big Bloo when your rollin' to the concert bass beat or if you're just feeling wild and crazy. This outrageously overdone furry hood for girls and boys is cute and comfortable. Featuring awesome blue faux fur, rainbow horns, eyes, and teeth, this raver hood is just sic.

Alternative music is used to describe a style of music that evolved in the 1980's and early 1990's. Ironically, it became one the most popular genres music of the day.

Alternative Rock hosts a varied and exciting range of styles, from small college town bands to major artists like the Smashing Pumpkins, The Cure, U2 just to name a few bands.
