Bee sting

Updated on January 3, 2016

Just because I think of you like tomorrow,

Doesn't mean you owe me a thought,

Just because my senses tell me you are sweet,

Doesn't mean you are a gift to me,

When it snows and the sparkles glow,

Doesn't mean it shines for me, I know,

If I could fill your world with nothing but love in it, I would

Should I receive that benefaction, or stand in quick sand to sink, trying not to blink with the sight of you,

Place me wherever, but I'll keep my attention to you like I always do,

I will light and clear any path for you, but I won't expect the same from you,

Only a bee sting to my heart, enough to remind me, how it feels to have a soul pass through.

Sad and foreboding. A bee sting hurts like love does sometimes. You captured the feeling well.

A sincere thought that provokes emotion. Loved the pictures too.
