You Take My Heart Away

Updated on October 26, 2015

YOU TAKE MY HEART AWAY

You take my heart away by the look in your eyes,

I see myself in them and some sweet insights,

Emotions shining bright, your intentions for our

Stronger romantic bonding are just right!

You see me the way you would have touched me,

And I melt at that moment by the heat in your

Sight.

You take my heart away by the way you hold my hands,

I feel your companionship and an assurance of lasting

Solace,

Those walks with you in solitaire,

So close you are to me and I have no fears.

The moments of these feelings I want you to know,

How my heart is reeling

And I just know you’ll be with me always,

For us to have “long-lasting, happy days”.

You take my heart away when you grip me by my

Waist,

You touch me slowly and make no haste,

I’m taking in your scent and there’s no time to waste,

You are so close to me, yet the distance seems so great!

To come nearer to you, I can’t wait.

Wanna know the effect of these little escapades?

That we’ll always be one in love like this,

And you are my Soulmate.

You take my heart away when you listen to my talks,

To whatever I say, about the happenings of the day,

And do not just judge me and walk away,

When you let me glimpse into what is on your mind,

And in your heart,

Things which made you smile, and problems which you

Dart.

Your intentions to just let it be, or to act upon and

Make a new Start!

You take my heart away when you do things which

Make you special,

When you let me know How Special I AM!

About unique characteristics which make me, and

That Special I always will be. J

Be it leaving a rose on my bed-side every morning,

Or cooking breakfast on Sundays and Dinner on some

Week-days too,

.I love it when you show its OUR Home, and share the

Duties on our ‘Cleanliness-Drive Days’,

You take my heart away when you endeavour

to make me independent,

Not leaving me alone still, like always,

Calling my friends for party on my Birthday,

Or arranging for just the two of us on other special

Occasions.

Be it the gift of a vacation or some other costly possession,

It always mirrors you and your love for me.

So I promise to pour my cup of love & care on you,

As its your way, till the end of our ‘Earthly Stay’.

I had created this Poem to submit in a Competition of Romantic Poetry. Every one have their own idea and experiences in and about Romance, Love. In creating this poetry, all I had to do was remember and feel all that which was my idea of perfect love relationship, perfect romance, my dreams. I live my life and dreams through poetry and I guess this one poem has become one of the all time favorite creations of mine. :-)I am curious to get others' feedback, in order to improve myself in future. :)

Thanks for the tip. :-) I didn't know I need to add 'contest' as a tag too. :D I will now. N about this poem, this poem is very special to me, as I wrote it for just me and my dreams, my perspective of love, and not for any other human being. mayb this is the reason it came out beautifully. :-)

When it comes to writing Romantic Poetry you are even more beautiful. If you are entering in hubpages contest add contest as a tag and poems and poetry as the category. Remember even a poem must be 500 words. You may add poet's note to maintain word count.

This is a nice effort Charu.. Don't be afraid to write from the heart. It is that very ability that makes the difference between average and great poetry. To be able to add new tags on your work - go into edit mode and then to the control panel in the right column of your hub and click it onto 'Tag' - then add them. There you can also write a summary of your work which will be seen on the search engines. Good Luck. Write more.

Thank you so much for that tip. I am new here, so can you please help me out, as to how do I tag after my work is published?

Charu: you need to add the tag 'content' to your hub so it is entered in the competition! Welcome to Hubpages and good luck with the competition! Great start.....

Thank you so-2 much for lovely feedback. :-) I was a little hesitant at first to start blogging and publishing my work online. I thought I was not good enough for that, but now that my aim is to learn, I will try and publish more frequently. :-)
