Dr. Seuss – Inspirational Quotes

  • In order to achieve success you have to believe that your success is your own decision, so he said, “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You're on your own, and you know what you know. And you are the guy who'll decide where to go”. He confirmed by saying “Only you can control your future”.
He tried to let us laugh while he was teaching the same when he added, “I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead and some come from behind. But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!”, “My shoe is off. My foot is cold. I have a bird I like to hold”.
  • We should believe that no one would be ready to put the success on a golden dish; then we get it easily. “You’ll miss the best things if you keep your eyes shut”.
  • He knows that teachers are very important, but he added “You can get help from teachers, but you are going to have to learn a lot by yourself, sitting alone in a room”.
  • He told that we are responsible for how will people remember us, “Today I shall behave, as if this is the day I will be remembered.”
  • When you love your job, you give more & experience success more & more. “I think my job is swell, there's nothing else I love so well”. “I love my job - I'll say it again - I even love those friendly men. Those friendly men who've come today, in clean white coats to take me away!!!!!”,"When you work, work hard “, "When he worked, he really worked. But when he played, he really played”.
  • Respect yourself,You are you. Now, isn't that pleasant?”

Dr. Seuss – Encouraging & Motivational Quotes

Success is a long way, so we need to be encouraged & motivated to achieve it, in his books he added golden rules to encourage us to do our best to achieve our dreams.

  • “Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So. . . get on your way.”
  • “Why fit in when you were born to stand out?”
  • “If things start happening, don't worry, don't stew, just go right along and you'll start happening too.”

He wanted us to believe that we are able to succeed. Moreover, we must succeed.

  • “So be sure when you step, Step with care and great tact. And remember that life's A Great Balancing Act. And will you succeed? Yes! You will, indeed! (98 and ¾ percent guaranteed) Kid, you'll move mountains.”
  • “You'll be on your way up!
    You'll be seeing great sights!
    You'll join the high fliers
    who soar to high heights.”

Trust that tomorrow will be different & will be more better than today, “It's not about what it is, it's about what it can become.”

Sure, we should not give up & we should get fun on the way to success,

  • “Don't give up. I believe in you all. A person's a person no matter how small.”, “Don't cry.....”, “Fun is good”, “Try them, try them, and you may! Try them and you may, I say.”

Success has no one way, the world is big & the opportunities are huge, “It's opener, out there, in the wide, open air.”

Although he encourages us & tell us how much big we can be, he knows that Success is not an easy way, it is something you should work hard for it.

  • “If you want to catch beasts you don't see every day,
You have to go places quite out of the way,
You have to go places no others can get to.
You have to get cold and you have too get wet, too”.

DR. Seuss – Hope Quotes

  • Hope could change anybody life, “Today was good. Today was fun. Tomorrow is another one”.

“Today is gone. Today was fun.
Tomorrow is another one.
Every day,
from here to there,
funny things are everywhere.”

  • Life is not just a pain, work, it is a pleasure we can find everywhere.

“Oh, the places you'll go! There is fun to be done!
There are points to be scored. There are games to be won.”

  • Everyone has many stronger tools which can be used to achieve success.

“When you think things are bad,
when you feel sour and blue,
when you start to get mad...
you should do what I do!
Just tell yourself, Duckie,
you're really quite lucky!
Some people are much more...
oh, ever so much more...
oh, muchly much-much more
unlucky than you!”
― Dr. Seuss, Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are?

“life is a success”, it is a short, effective sentence, if you like you can make your life a success.

Hi Taleb80. You did a great job on this hub. Reading to your children is so important and opens the world up to them. I always read to my son to include the classics of poetry and other genre. Reading opens the mind to imagination and thinking!

Voted up and Awsome. I love Dr. Seuss. I had all of his childrens books when my son was born. All I would have to do was say one line out of any of his books and my son would go and pick the correct book from the bookshelf. There needs to be more childrens writers like Dr. Seuss. Thank you for sharing this hub!
