Poem: Heart to heart
Introduction!
Have you ever loved someone so mush that it hurt. I have such a love and it is penned down in the form of poetry.
My poems it's not about literary accomplishment, but about touching hearts and witnessing through poetry.
There is a story in a story and see if you could see it?
What the Bible say about the Heart.
Mat 6:21 for where thy treasure is, there will thy heart be also.
Rom 10:1 Brethren, my heart's desire and my supplication to God is for them, that they may be saved.
Mat 22:37 And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Poem
Could you see the deeper meaning of the poem?
Heart to heart
Intensely the love in my heart burns like a furnace.
Deeply rooted, so unexplained, so real my heart aches.
Who could know the depths of love so profound?
Creator, friend and lover of my soul!
Could I love someone more deeply?
Was this a love affair, the love of my life?
Is it humanly possible or some supernatural force?
One thing I know, it must be true for the ache is real.
I opened wide my heart for You to see.
Only because you asked me to.
Ashamed of the rot and filth inside, hidden so deep.
Dirty and unwashed, I turned my face for you to see.
It seems You did not mind the stench or rottenness, so black.
Your pure holy heart connecting to mine, so white, so clean.
Darkness washed away with care, patiently, lovingly.
Slowly pouring out Your heart into mine, showing me the way.
Cords of Love connecting to my soul, slowly all shame disappears.
My new heart pulses with life, Your love floods my soul.
Slowly, as I feel Your heartbeat, my heartbeat, then the heat of Your love.
Love so tender, so deep, unexplored so un-humanly good.
My heart sings, joy unspeakable floods my soul, rejoices.
His blood flows warm, pure and clean, pumping in my veins.
Vibrant love and compassion flows from His heart to mine.
Pulsing, feeling the Father’s heart, then mine, then His again.
I saw the greatest love deep in its roots of my Father’s heart.
He loved, not to spare His own love, to share.
Not ashamed to dare, carrying the burden of a weary heart.
Satisfied, deep rooted in Your heart’s love, I relaxed.
Then I felt the shock, deep inside, bursts of pain, brutal, unfair.
His Heart jumped and pain flooded mine, unbearable and cold.
What could bring such a change? Did I feel something new?
Those who hate Me and sold their hearts, but not to Me, must flee.
I felt the anger as His heartbeat races, disappointment and loss.
Brutal murder, stealing and destroying, My beloved, shall I not care?
Swiftly shall I be there, seeking those broken hearts to mend.
Connecting, heart to heart, never to part, imbedded in Love so undeserved.
Thank You, Father for Your love so great,
So undeserved, so intense, so pure, so deep.
Your heart to mine, from my heart to Yours.
