How to Make Money Writing Online: The Truth About Bubblews

Updated on March 1, 2014

What Writing Site Makes You The Most Money?

I've been writing on Hubpages for about three years now and learning how to make money online isn't always easy. I had over 100 hubs submitted, and was getting about 300 views a day. I spent most my time writing Best of Netflix articles, that make up for most of my earnings. I also wrote and published a lot of poetry, but it generated very little earnings here at Hubpages.

I first heard about Bubblews.com from the popular Hubber Thomas Swan. He wrote the article, Bubblews- An Experiment To Test The Scam. Many users were complaining about Bubblews failing to pay them their submitted earning. But I also heard that Bubblews paid users nearly triple what Hubpages would pay per click. So, when I first discovered the writing site Bubblews.com, I decided to post my poetry there instead, to see if I would make more money writing online.

Hubpages V.S. Bubblews

Find Out The Truth

- What Site Should You Write On?

- Who Pays More?

- Does Quality Matter at Bubblews?

- The Comparison

I Earned $25 in My First Two Days at Bubblews

I was surprised to see that Bubblews immediately placed $1 in my Bubblews bank account upon sign up. From there I decided to post my first submission on the site. I actually used an article that I unpublished from Hubpages to "test out the scam." Again, I was pleased to immediately see my Bubblews bank rise from $1 to $1.50.

I was already hooked. I began to un-publish all of my rarely viewed poetry from Hubpages, and submit it on Bubblews. Each time I posted the number of views would grow, thus adding to my bank account. They only allow ten posts per day, so in the first two days, I took full advantage of their limit. I posted 20 times in two days.

Bubblews at the time, had a minimum payout of $25. In 2 days and with twenty posts, I had reached their minimum payout. Was it too good to be true? Would Bubblews really pay me?

Me, waiting for my money...

Will Bubblews Really Pay?

Yes! I've heard the various stories of lost earnings from unpaid Bubblews users. In my opinion, most of those users didn't get paid because they broke the rules, or have very poor content. I know there are also some cases where users, who have followed all the rules, didn't get paid. I think these are far more rare and many are being worked out

It's been about six weeks since I've joined Bubblews and they've paid me for every earning I submitted. I follow all the rules and create quality posts, and haven't had a single issue with payment from the site. Here's proof that I got paid from both Bubblews and Hubpages:

Proof that Bubblews and Hubpages Pay

From Bubblews to My Bank!

On Bubblews, I use PayPal to collect my earnings. After I hit the green redeem earnings button, it usually takes about 3 days for the money to show up in my PayPal account. After the money is in my PayPal account, it takes about 3 more days for the money to pend. After the money clears, I deposit it into my checking account. This usually takes another 6 days. The total time from when I submit my Bubblews earning, to when it's accessible in my checking account is about 12 days.

4 Weeks and $205 Later...

Since I joined Bubblews 4 weeks ago, I've submitted 146 articles. It sounds like a ridiculous amount of work to accomplish in 4 weeks but it wasn't as tricky as you'd think. Bubblews allows you to post articles as short as 400 characters, or about 4 sentences. These 146 articles have generated me a grand total of, $205.00 in 4 weeks.

I've submitted 5 $25 dollar redemptions, 1 $50 dollar redemption and currently have $30 in my Bubblews Bank.

So far, the first 5 redemptions have made it to my checking account. The $50 is pending in my PayPal account, and the other $30 is still in my Bubblews bank.

Hubpages V.S. Bubblews

So, Bubblews pays you more per click but do they really pay more than Hubpages? The answer is yes... and no. Let me explain:

Bubblews pays you about 1 cent for every view, like/dislike, comment, and share that your post receives. The problem is the traffic seems to be much shorter lived, than the steady traffic that Hubpages can bring. This site will make you great money, if your willing to write ten short post everyday. It's pretty easy to get your posts to make you 1 - 2 dollars each, almost immediately, but those views are difficult to sustain.

Hubpages pays you significantly less than that per click but the quality of the site is higher than Bubblews. You can also get indexed on search engines easier, bringing you longer lasting, more sustainable traffic. Also, you can sell amazon and ebay items through referral links, which can add to your overall earnings from Hubpages. ( In the long run you make more on Hubapages).

So, Who Wins the Showdown?

You! There are no losers here.

I know, I know... I sound like the 2nd grade coach your father loathed. But if you use both these sites to their strengths, you can maximize your online earning potential. I'm working to build up "Evergreen" articles here at Hubpages, while I strive to post ten shorter submissions at Bubblews each day.

If I can work up to a couple hundred a month at each site, I'll be perfectly happy. I'm not too far from it, and that's because of Bubblews and Hubpages. I hope my findings can help you bring your online profits to an all time high!
